CTI-MARITEC gained CCS APPROVAL FOR BWMS COMMISSIONING TEST

CTI-Maritec China has got the approval from Class CCS as a Recognized Service Supplier for Ballast Water Management Systems (BWMS) Commissioning Testing as per BWM.2/Circ.70/Rev.1.

IMO adopted the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments in 2004 and entered into force in 2017. What is worth noting is that it requires biological efficacy testing when commissioning a BWTS on board a vessel. This amendment will come into effect from today (1 June 2022). 

Until now, As a service provider, CTI-Maritec has got the approval by CCS, LR, ABS, DNV, KR and under approval process by BV. This achievement elevates our readiness to serve newbuilding and retrofit vessels to a great extent.
