Why Engage Maritec to conduct a Bunker Survey?

MARITEC is synonymous to bunker surveys and is well recognized in Singapore.  Over the years, since 1987, we have given our personal commitment and dedication in servicing and satisfying local and international shipowners, operators, charterers, bunker brokers, suppliers and bunker tanker operators.

We only have properly trained, experienced and professional bunker surveyors to board your vessel to determine independently the bunker quantity delivered by the bunker tanker. All Maritec surveyors are licensed by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore.


With our knowledge and expertise in local bunkering practices, bunker arbitration and the Singapore Standard Code of Practices CP:60 and CP:77 for bunkering, we are able to assist you in the event of a dispute and subsequent claim.

All representative samples are taken by our surveyor with consideration to ASTM D4057 and in accordance to the CP:60 and CP:77. Samples are properly labelled, sealed and distributed with acknowledgement from all parties concerned.

Our surveyors are also able to advise both Chief Engineer and Bunker Cargo Officer to operate in accordance with the Singapore Standard CP:60 and conduct the survey in accordance to CP:77. During the survey, all parties are specifically requested to inspect the quantity measurement and quality sampling together with us to verify MARITEC's findings.
